Dietary Needs
Standard boxes include meat and canned proteins. Let us know when you reserve if you need a vegetarian version — we'll swap accordingly.*
Preparation
A few items — the instant oatmeal, coffee, and the noodle bowls — taste best with boiling water added. We provide a stove and propane as add-ons. Nothing in the box needs more than about a cup of water to prepare.

Who we are
We're Hannah and Volker — longtime burners and Reno locals. Between the two of us, we've done more Burning Man food prep than we can count, and we started Burner Box after years of watching people scramble for food logistics in the days before gates open. We pride ourselves on packing every box the way we'd pack our own — nothing in it we haven't personally tested on playa.
